Natalie Picot

Natalie has been running South Main for over a decade, supporting investors and management teams facing high‑stakes decisions. Her work is grounded in deep analytical rigor, structured thinking, and an ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic conclusions. She is deeply experienced in both the public and private equity markets. Natalie has built and led high‑performing teams across research, diligence, and strategic advisory engagements, bringing together the right expertise and analytical capabilities to execute complex projects efficiently and at a high standard.

 

Prior to founding South Main, Natalie spent four years at Soros Fund Management, a highly-regarded family office. She worked directly with CIO Scott Bessent researching new investment opportunities across geographies and sectors. 

Natalie also worked at Wendel North America, LLC, the New York office of a French PE firm. She performed fundamental research to support deal processes by evaluating company-level performance, assessing industry dynamics and competitive landscapes, leading due diligence calls, and building valuation analyses.

Natalie earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
